School Transport Policy
The school transport facility is provided as a convenience to parents and students. The following rules and conditions are intended to ensure the safe, efficient, and smooth operation of the transport service. Parents are requested to read them carefully before opting for the facility.
1. Request for Transport Facility
Parents requiring the school transport facility must submit their request at the beginning of the academic session. Bus routes are planned and finalized based on the requests received before the commencement of the session. Once the routes have been finalized and the seating capacity of the buses has been reached, the school cannot guarantee transport facilities for requests received later during the session.
2. Transport Facility for Partial Periods
The school transport facility is intended for regular use throughout the academic session. Requests to use the bus only for selected months or on selected days of the week will ordinarily not be accepted. If, due to the availability of seats, such a request is exceptionally approved by the school, the parent shall be liable to pay the transport fee for the entire academic session.
3. One-Way Transport
Parents opting for only one-way transport (either pick-up or drop-off) shall be required to pay the full transport fee applicable for both pick-up and drop-off services for the entire academic session.
4. Pick-up and Drop-off Point
School buses will operate only on roads that are safe and suitable for bus movement. If the road or street leading to a student’s residence is too narrow, congested, or otherwise unsuitable for the safe movement or turning of the school bus, parents shall be responsible for bringing their child to and collecting their child from the nearest designated pick-up and drop-off point on the main road, as determined by the school.
5. Transport Fee
Transport charges are payable for the entire academic session as per the school’s fee schedule. The transport fee remains payable irrespective of temporary non-utilization of the service due to illness, examinations, vacations, personal reasons, or any other absence from school.
6. Bus Routes and Timings
The school reserves the right to modify, extend, shorten, merge, or discontinue any bus route or alter pick-up/drop-off timings based on operational requirements, the number of students, road conditions, safety considerations, or any other circumstances deemed necessary by the school.

Students using the school transport are expected to always maintain discipline. They must:
- Be courteous and respectful towards the driver, attendant, and fellow students.
- Remain seated while the bus is in motion.

- Follow all instructions issued by the bus staff.
Repeated indiscipline or misconduct may result in suspension or withdrawal of the transport facility without any refund of transport fees.
8. Safety Guidelines
- Students should reach the designated bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled arrival time.
- The bus will not wait for late-arriving students.
- Students must board and alight from the bus in an orderly manner only after it has come to a complete stop.
- Hands, head, or any other body parts must not be extended outside the windows while the bus is in motion.
- Where seat belts are provided, students must wear them throughout the journey.

12. School’s Decision
